Enhance your Videos with These AI Tools

I’ve recently discovered several AI tools that have surprised me and made editing much easier. Compared to the days when I did everything manually, these tools handle tasks like scene detection, subtitles, and audio adjustments, which allows me to focus on the more important aspects like frame timing, storytelling, and pacing.

Podcast adobe

This is my favourite new platform for improving audio quality, making it crisper than the original recording, and removing noisy backgrounds. When I film outdoors, it’s pretty common to encounter distractions like construction noise, aeroplanes, or other sounds we can’t control—especially when recording someone speaking. I faced that exact issue not long ago and decided to try Podcast Adobe.

I was genuinely impressed by how effectively it cleaned up the sound without compromising the natural tone of the voice, unlike some other noise reduction tools that can distort the audio. Even if your audio is already well-recorded, this platform can enhance it further by adding richness to the voice's bass and making the audio even cleaner and more refined. It's a simple and fast tool to use, making it user-friendly.

Opus clip

By now, most social media users are likely familiar with the trend of moving text combined with colour-highlighted keywords designed to capture fleeting attention spans. This platform simplifies the process by generating subtitles in various languages and automatically highlighting key phrases, significantly reducing the time spent on manual editing—a game-changer for anyone who's struggled with traditional methods.

It’s particularly helpful for those without prior editing experience, allowing even phone-shot videos to be transformed into modern, social-media-optimized content and it for sure saves you lots of time. While it’s an excellent tool, it’s worth noting that spell-checking is necessary, and the rendering process can take a few minutes.

veed

A platform packed with various features such as animations, lower thirds, GIFs, stock footage, and music, all of which can be easily added to a video using their simple editing timeline. There’s a lot of content available for free, but to download the video in higher resolution, you'll need a paid membership, which can be worth it for someone who’s not an expert in the field and needs content adapted for social media for their business.

ELEVENLABS

ElevenLabs is a platform that generates AI voice-overs—if you, like many of us, are not comfortable hearing your voice or simply prefer not to record one. Instead, you can create a voice-over from text, selecting from a variety of voices to suit your project, including support for multiple languages. You can even modify your voice or use it for dubbing videos.

As you can see, there are plenty of creative options for voice-overs—pretty cool! There are also other tools available. I haven’t had the chance to incorporate this into my videos yet, but I definitely plan to soon.

adobe premiere pro

As a professional video editor, I’m excited to see Adobe integrating more AI into its advanced software. Since I edit using Premiere Pro, these developments are genuine time-savers. Some of the newly introduced features include automated subtitles, which are generated from the voices in the video—a significant improvement as I used to write these manually. The stabilising effect has also been refined, which is particularly useful for someone like me who enjoys shooting handheld footage.

One of the most futuristic features is the ability to extend a clip by using AI to generate additional frames beyond what was filmed. Currently, this feature supports only HD resolution, but it’s an impressive glimpse into the future of video editing because I can’t count the number of times I’ve wished I had shot a specific scene just a few seconds longer. It’s exciting to see these innovations making the editing process more efficient and creative.
